Barbara Hulanicki

Barbara Hulanicki has constantly driven design and retail industries forward in style and innovation since founding Biba

with her husband, Stephen Fitz-Simon, in 1964. The emporium soon became the hub for fashion and music icons

such as Mick Jagger, David Bowie, and Marianne Faithfull.

The Hulanicki branded bow continues to strengthen with vast experience within retail consultancy, collaborations with Topshop,

Coccinelle & Disney, to name a few, and single-handedly revitalizing Miami Beach's art deco district.

Awarding an OBE for her services to fashion in 2012 was physical recognition of her British fashion icon title and influence, which

continues to reign with modern-day tastemakers Kate Moss and Alexa Chung adorning themselves in Hulanicki designs.

Since 2023, Barbara has become a big supporter and muse for the Miami Shoe Museum.
